Several Precautions for Maintenance of New Motorcycles

In order to enable everyone to take good care of their cars, I would like to summarize some experiences and share them.
 
First: engine oil during the running-in period
 
Everyone should know that the running-in period of a motorcycle is 1,500 kilometers to 2,000 kilometers. You can change the engine oil at 200 kilometers, 500 kilometers, 800 kilometers, 1,500 kilometers, and 2,000 kilometers. The gear meshing, push rod or chain work in the engine of a new car will produce scrap iron filings, so everyone should change them frequently. Go to a specialized after-sales service to change the special engine oil. Don't be greedy for cheap engine oil.
 
Second: How to drive a motorcycle during the running-in period
 
The running-in period is actually the most troublesome thing. The speed of the first gear cannot exceed the speed limit of this gear. Within 800 kilometers, try not to take people on a motorcycle or climb too steep slopes, and don't put too much effort on the motorcycle. This running-in effect will be the best.
 
Third: End of running-in
 
It is not completely broken in after 2000 kilometers. Try to increase the speed of all gears slowly and evenly during riding to stimulate the potential to achieve the best effect. Clean the air filter (replace it if it is a paper air filter) and oil filter every 2,500 kilometers, drain the oil and replace it with new oil.
 
Fourth: Post-maintenance
 
Later maintenance is generally based on changing the engine oil and air filter every 1,500 kilometers. Check the battery every month to see if it is discharged.
